White Egret

Egret on 48 x 36 inch canvas - This was an interesting piece to complete. I started with a black background using "Black 3.0" from Culture Hustle (Stuart Semple) paint product. I like the why the contrast between the white of the bird and the black background gives it a nice 3 dimensional feel. Using the multiple shades of white was a learning experience trying to stay true to the photo while doing some interoperations of portions that weren't visible in the photograph. This painting will be part of a two part series, with a corresponding egret to face this one. I complete this one on October 6th of 2023
